Senior AI Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Convert machine learning research into actionable, domain-specific solutions.

• Take ownership of applied research and experimentation in the areas of computer vision, LLMs, and AI workflows.

• Lead the design and implementation of experiments from start to finish.

• Influence technical direction by pinpointing high-impact opportunities.

• Make practical decisions regarding model accuracy, interpretability, latency, and cost.

• Share insights with research colleagues to foster rigor in a collaborative setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of direct experience in applied AI research.

• Proven success in managing projects from initial research to production deployment.

• Extensive experience in training and fine-tuning models from the ground up using contemporary frameworks.

• Strong command of Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or others.

• Practical experience with comprehensive ML workflows on cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Solid software engineering capabilities and proficiency in version control systems (Git).

• Considerable experience in implementing and enhancing core computer vision and image processing algorithms.
