AI Prompt Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Create, compose, and refine prompts that produce structured, high-quality content driven by AI.

• Develop and sustain scalable prompt frameworks that cater to various formats and applications.

• Evaluate AI outputs, identify areas of failure, and systematically enhance results through continuous iteration.

• Establish and enforce rules, constraints, and schemas (including JSON outputs) to maintain consistency and reliability.

• Assess content quality based on accuracy, engagement, repeatability, and structure.

• Innovate, prototype, and validate new content formats from initial concept to production-ready systems.

• Conduct experiments to compare variations of prompts and scale successful methodologies.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders utilizing tools such as generative AI platforms, spreadsheets, and structured workflows.

• Ensure documentation and clarity regarding prompt logic, systems, and anticipated outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in designing and iterating prompts for generative AI systems (or equivalent applied experience).

• At least 2 years of experience handling structured content or data formats (e.g., JSON, schemas, rule-based systems).

• A minimum of 2 years demonstrating analytical problem-solving skills, including output testing, error diagnosis, and system improvements.

• Exceptional writing abilities with a focus on clarity, tone, and structured communication.

• Proven capacity to convert vague requirements into clear rules and consistent outputs.

• Capability to work autonomously, manage experimentation cycles, and deliver iterative enhancements.
