AI Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and manage the product backlog, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product strategy and platform objectives.

• Convert product vision and intricate requirements into actionable epics, features, and user stories for engineering teams.

• Work in close collaboration with architects, engineers, and leadership to influence platform capabilities and technical direction.

• Define and uphold the product roadmap, ensuring that development priorities align with business goals and the evolution of the platform.

• Facilitate product planning sessions, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient delivery.

• Monitor progress toward product objectives, making adjustments to priorities and scope as necessary to maximize impact and delivery results.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, collaborating with engineering leadership to address issues and keep delivery on track.

• Assess opportunities for enhancing platform capabilities, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

• Contribute to the advancement of BSC Analytics’ AI platform by identifying new capabilities, workflows, and opportunities for automation.

• Support and engage with engineering teams, promoting clarity around priorities and enabling effective execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing technical products as a Product Owner or Product Manager within an Agile setting.

• Proven experience in owning and prioritizing product backlogs.

• Background in building or supporting platform-based products.

• Experience in closely collaborating with engineering teams to deliver technical products.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, data platforms, or data-driven products.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or similar).

• Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in a consulting environment (Preferred).

• Background in highly regulated industries (Preferred).

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or a similar Agile certification (Preferred).
