AI Product Manager – Merchant Acquiring, Licensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Define the product roadmap and initiatives related to acquiring, gateways, transactional switches, issuance of electronic money, and regional licensing.

• Lead expansion projects associated with acquiring, certifications, licenses, brands, processors, and key players in the payments ecosystem.

• Coordinate with regulators, partners, processors, brands, and internal teams to enable transactional capabilities across various markets.

• Leverage AI tools such as NotebookLM, Google AI Studio, or others to expedite research, regulatory analysis, functional documentation, and PRD generation.

• Translate complex business, regulatory, and technology requirements into clear product definitions.

• Participate in the design of payment solutions based on APIs, microservices, transactional messaging, and settlement flows.

• Oversee the execution of initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with Technology, Architecture, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Partners teams.

• Manage OKRs and impact metrics related to authorization, volume migration, time-to-market, operational efficiency, and reduction of manual errors.

• Identify operational, regulatory, or technical risks associated with the deployment of acquiring and licensing products.

• Ensure that each initiative has strategic traceability, measurable impact, and alignment with Kashio's corporate objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Project Manager, or similar roles in fintech, acquiring, payments, switches, processors, digital wallets, or electronic money issuance.

• Solid experience or knowledge in acquiring, payment processing, certifications, settlement, clearing, settlement, authorization, or transactional flows.

• Deep understanding of financial API integration, microservices architectures, and payments ecosystems.

• Familiarity with transactional messaging protocols, ideally ISO 8583, JSON, or similar standards.

• Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to manage regional expansion initiatives in LATAM markets.

• AI-ready mindset with practical experience using artificial intelligence tools for research, documentation, analysis, or product lifecycle efficiency.

• Capability to translate regulation, operation, and technology into clear functional requirements.

• Skill to collaborate with teams across Product, Technology, Architecture, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Partners.

• Desirable knowledge of frameworks such as BIAN, TM Forum, TOGAF, or similar applied to payments domains.
