AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver product features from start to finish, primarily focusing on the creation of new functionalities.

• Quickly identify and resolve production issues, demonstrating strong judgment regarding user impact and prioritization.

• Collaborate closely with the Product team to transform concepts into launched experiences and contribute to product strategy and user experience choices.

• Actively incorporate AI in daily development tasks, debugging, prototyping, and iterative processes.

• Work efficiently across the stack to enhance product quality, speed, and usability.

• Facilitate the team's faster delivery through effective execution, ownership, and a product-oriented engineering approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, full-stack engineering, or a similarly product-focused technical role.

• A strong sense of product and a clear enthusiasm for creating user-facing features.

• Highly proficient in AI, with extensive knowledge of contemporary AI coding tools and a proactive approach to exploring new tools and workflows.

• A solid ownership mentality with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.

• Experience in developing side projects, testing innovative ideas, or independently launching initiatives beyond core job duties.

• Comfortable working on both frontend and backend tasks.

• Capable of thriving in a dynamic startup environment.

• Proven experience in building mobile-first consumer products.

• Familiarity with Next.js and Python.

• Background in early-stage startups.

• Experience at a rapidly growing or top VC-backed startup.

• Active participation in open source communities is advantageous.

• A degree in Computer Science is a plus.

• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, or founders on user-facing decisions.
