AI Platform Engineer – Developer, Product Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and develop essential systems, APIs, and tools for engineering and product teams

• Take ownership of the lifecycle for internal AI APIs, SDKs, and developer tools

• Construct and sustain CI/CD-integrated AI systems

• Accelerate product development by incorporating AI capabilities into workflows

• Create evaluation frameworks and automated testing pipelines

• Develop observability tools to track model performance and production output quality

• Set up shared prompt libraries and reusable context management systems

• Define and uphold engineering standards for the development of AI systems

• Offer technical direction and perform architectural reviews of AI features

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure

• A minimum of 2 years in building production AI/ML systems

• Extensive experience with LLM APIs

• Strong comprehension of system behavior under production load

• Experience in developing internal developer platforms, tools, or shared infrastructure

• Proficient in Python and at least one compiled language

• Preferred familiarity with agentic frameworks, RAG architectures, vector databases, or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
