AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand essential infrastructure for advanced agents in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), collaborating closely with developers to transform rapid prototypes into reliable, scalable solutions.

• Implement sophisticated AI Gateways and integrate Okta to ensure a strong agent identity and security framework.

• Establish and sustain agile environments focused on testing and prototyping new AI vendors, components, models, and integrations, while paving a clear route to production releases.

• Formulate and execute stringent evaluation criteria for emerging AI technologies, ensuring the adoption of the most effective tools for our high-code agent environments.

• Serve as a pivotal technical resource in a team dedicated to rapid prototyping, working in harmony with Information Security, Identity, and broader IT teams.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align rapid prototypes with overarching architectural standards, aiding in validation and providing essential feedback.

• Design and deploy monitoring solutions to track complex agent workflows, monitoring tool utilization, latency, and LLM decision pathways to guarantee reliability at scale.

• Stay abreast of the swiftly evolving AI landscape, assisting the team in innovating and adapting our platform architecture to accommodate future AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced expertise in Python/Typescript, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), REST APIs, and identity protocols (OAuth2, OIDC).

• Demonstrated experience in creating rapid cloud prototypes (AWS/GCP) and collaborating with core DevOps teams to transform these into scalable Terraform architectures.

• A proven history of success in R&D or rapid prototyping environments, with a keen interest in taking experimental ideas and figuring out how to scale them.

• Ability to systematically assess new vendor technologies, establish testing criteria, and present actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills to effectively connect AI developers, product managers, and external security/infrastructure teams.

• Knowledge of AI-specific threat vectors (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs), implementing runtime AI safeguards, and securing non-human/machine identities at scale.

• Proven experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.
