AI Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Assume a hands-on, operational leadership position in promoting the organization’s applied artificial intelligence strategy across clinical, operational, and administrative areas.

• Oversee the daily management of AI projects, facilitating the entire AI algorithm lifecycle—from intake and evaluation to deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

• Collaborate closely with clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, IT, Informatics, Legal, Risk, and external AI vendors to ensure that AI tools are safe, efficient, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s objectives.

• Guarantee that AI provides tangible, measurable value while upholding trust, safety, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, Engineering, Informatics, Healthcare, or Business Administration.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience with EHR-integrated AI tools or clinical decision support systems.

• Understanding of AI governance frameworks, model risk management, or algorithm oversight processes.

• Experience working in collaboration with AI vendors, startups, or health technology partners.

• Awareness of healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory aspects related to AI.

• PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar project management certification or training.
