AI Lead, C++ Ecosystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Lead an engineering team with varying levels of experience and expertise, focusing on the integration of AI into our current products and the development of new AI-driven solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers, machine learning and QA engineers, stakeholders, and senior developers to define and execute the roadmap.

• Contribute to the product roadmap and engage in the feature design process.

• Continuously enhance team processes and culture to ensure smooth delivery and agility.

• Serve as a mentor rather than a detached manager, dedicating time to personally design and tackle technical tasks and software architecture.

• Quickly absorb extensive technical information and thoroughly engage with mature codebases.

• Guide team members in their technical and interpersonal skills, offering feedback to support their daily improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant prior experience with C++, along with experience in leading a development team.

• Cutting-edge knowledge and enthusiasm for the current AI technology landscape used in software development tools. You stay updated with the latest news, continually experiment with new tools, and understand how agents function at a fundamental level.

• A demonstrated history of joining established teams and making a significant impact, whether as an individual contributor or a team leader.

• A proven ability to propose and implement innovative solutions that address complex technical challenges without compromising existing quality.

• The capability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of colleagues, including both managers and peers.

• A solid understanding of product management and its integral role in the overall development life cycle.
