This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.
• Leverage AI for comprehensive research across legal, HR, technical, and operational subjects.
• Develop and sustain AI workflows along with streamlined internal agents.
• Recognize repetitive tasks and automate them wherever feasible.
• Maintain organized bookkeeping using AI tools (including invoices, expenses, receipts, and reconciliation support).
• Monitor expenditures and generate straightforward financial summaries.
• Coordinate with accountants as necessary.
• Investigate legal and compliance issues utilizing AI and articulate findings effectively.
• Systematize contracts, policies, and essential documents.
• Identify risks early and escalate issues to professionals when needed.
• Oversee calendar management, inbox handling, scheduling, travel arrangements, and follow-ups.
• Prepare agendas, notes, and track action items.
• Serve as a gatekeeper to protect the founder's time.
• Execute ad-hoc projects and manage day-to-day operations from start to finish.
• Must have completed private school education.
• Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Experience in supporting founders, executives, or small teams.
• Proficient with AI tools, automation, and contemporary SaaS platforms.
• Comfortable in constructing workflows and lightweight AI systems.
• Competent in basic bookkeeping and financial administration.
• Strong online research abilities (legal/compliance experience is a plus).
• Effective communicator with the ability to summarize complex information.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and capable of handling confidential information.
• Proactive, self-sufficient, and adept at managing diverse tasks.
• Relevant Experience:
• Roles as Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff.
• Experience in startup environments or supporting founders.
• Background in AI automation, prompt engineering, or workflow design.
• Familiarity with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, PayPal, Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make, Slack, Asana, Trello, Google Workspace.
• Involvement in operations, project management, or business administration.
