AI Engineering Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical guidance for Generative AI initiatives and intelligent solutions.

• Create architectures for applications utilizing LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.

• Build Java applications that integrate with AI and Machine Learning services.

• Collaborate with Architecture, Product, Data, and Engineering teams to enhance solutions.

• Assess new technologies, frameworks, and AI models.

• Establish development standards for applications powered by AI.

• Guarantee the security, governance, scalability, and observability of intelligent solutions.

• Offer technical assistance to fellow engineers in incorporating AI into products.

• Execute proofs of concept (POCs) for emerging AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 17 or higher.

• Proficiency in Spring Boot.

• Experience with Microservices.

• Skilled in REST APIs.

• Knowledge of GraphQL.

• Experience in automated testing (JUnit, Mockito).

• Familiarity with Design Patterns.

• Understanding of SOLID principles.

• Knowledge of Clean Architecture.

• Proficient in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Experience with Docker.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI.

• Expertise in Prompt Engineering.

• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Experience with AI Agents.

• Understanding of Responsible AI, governance, and AI security.
