AI Engineering Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Support AI engineering and automation projects.

• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions employing AI tools and APIs.

• Investigate and assess new and emerging AI technologies.

• Assist in prompt engineering and the automation of workflows.

• Facilitate integrations and experimentation with large language models (LLMs).

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and QA teams.

• Record technical insights, concepts, and implementation strategies.

• Aid in the testing and enhancement of AI-driven features.

• Keep abreast of AI trends and share insights with the team.

• Currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree/diploma in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related discipline.

• A strong enthusiasm for AI, automation, and innovative technologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Eagerness to learn rapidly and engage in independent experimentation.

• A positive mindset coupled with a strong work ethic.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

• Proficient in English communication.

• A coding mindset with a focus on developing practical solutions.

• Familiarity with Python programming (preferred but not essential).

• Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred but not essential).

• Experience with APIs and integrations (preferred but not essential).

• Exposure to OpenAI / Claude / Gemini or similar LLM platforms (preferred but not essential).

• Understanding of prompt engineering (preferred but not essential).

• Experience with AI automation tools (preferred but not essential).

• Knowledge of Git / GitHub / version control (preferred but not essential).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) (preferred but not essential).

• Basic comprehension of LLMs and AI workflows (preferred but not essential).

• Must be a resident of Sri Lanka.
