AI Engineer – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create AI and Generative AI solutions aimed at automating legal workflows.

• Design and implement Large Language Models (LLMs) for the analysis, interpretation, and creation of legal documents.

• Develop solutions for extracting, classifying, and consolidating information from contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and various legal documents.

• Construct automated Due Diligence applications for risk assessment, compliance, and identifying document discrepancies.

• Create intelligent tools to aid in litigation management, case analysis, and monitoring of legal responsibilities.

• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures for querying legal document repositories.

• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Governance, and Technology teams to uncover opportunities for automation and innovation.

• Ensure the security, traceability, privacy, and compliance of developed solutions in line with regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Oversee the performance, accuracy, and progression of AI models in production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering (with a focus on Computing), or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Advanced Python.

• Experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Familiarity with Generative AI.

• Experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral).

• Proficiency with LangChain or LangGraph.

• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Skills in Prompt Engineering.

• Experience in MLOps.

• Knowledge of APIs and microservices.

• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Azure AI Search).

• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI.

• Preferred experience includes intelligent contractual data extraction, automated contract analysis, Due Diligence, litigation automation, compliance and risk management, as well as Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and Data Governance; and Legal Tech tools.

• Preferred certifications include AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate, DP-100 Azure Data Scientist Associate, AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, and Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
