This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Design and develop AI-driven applications and agents utilizing the Azure AI stack (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI).
• Create agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, and tool/function calling in C#/.NET employing Semantic Kernel or Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Incorporate LLM capabilities into enterprise applications and services (APIs, event-driven architectures).
• Construct and manage knowledge bases and retrieval layers using Azure AI Search, embeddings, and vector stores.
• Conduct evaluations of AI outputs (test datasets, quality metrics, prompt iteration) to ensure that solutions are quantifiable, rather than merely plausible.
• Implement enterprise-grade security, identity (Microsoft Entra ID), networking, and observability practices for AI workloads.
• Streamline build, deployment, and analysis workflows through Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with client technical teams in an Agile / Scrum setting.
• Communicate progress, solutions, and recommendations to international stakeholders in English.
• Document architectures, patterns, and decisions while suggesting avenues for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience as a .NET (C#) developer in enterprise settings.
• Practical experience in building solutions with Azure OpenAI and/or Azure AI Foundry.
• Solid understanding of LLM application patterns: RAG, agents, tool/function calling, prompt design, and evaluation.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of the Azure platform: AI Search, App Service or Functions, DevOps, Entra ID.
• Excellent analytical skills and comprehensive solution design capabilities.
• Capability to work autonomously, from requirements gathering to final delivery.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Python for AI tooling and evaluation, Model Context Protocol (MCP), vector databases, and the GitHub Copilot ecosystem.
