AI Engineer – NLP, Large Language Models Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design and develop NLP solutions utilizing Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace Transformers, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.).

• Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models on specialized datasets.

• Create pipelines for data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment in cloud/edge environments.

• Participate in R&D projects that integrate AI into business and research platforms.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Systems Architects for comprehensive solution implementation.

• Contribute to the writing of technical deliverables and documentation for AI modules.

• Stay updated on developments in the field of NLP & LLMs and introduce new methodologies.

• Develop personalized digital assistants, automated text generation and analysis systems, chatbots/conversational agents, and semantic search tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field in computing/technology.

• A Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence is required.

• Professional or research experience in NLP and Machine Learning projects.

• Excellent knowledge of Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers).

• Experience in fine-tuning and developing applications based on LLMs.

• Understanding of Deep Learning principles, language embeddings, semantic search, and conversational AI.

• Experience using APIs of large models (e.g., OpenAI API) and developing custom solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise AI deployment.

• Ability to write technical documentation in English.

• Experience in multilingual NLP projects or processing the Greek language.

• Good knowledge of MLOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).

• Experience in AI Ethics, Explainability (XAI), and Responsible AI.

• Participation in research projects or development of prototypes within R&D.

• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone).
