Generative AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create and develop LLM-based agents featuring tool calling, memory, and orchestration capabilities.

• Construct documentation and information retrieval systems utilizing embeddings, vector databases, RAG, and response quality assessment.

• Implement and manage AWS solutions on Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore through infrastructure as code.

• Design backend APIs, integrations, authentication mechanisms, user interfaces, and linkages with internal systems via MCP and APIs.

• Assess and enhance observability, costs, latency, and response quality.

• Transition LLMs and agents into production environments.

• Work collaboratively with customer-facing teams to support daily decision-making through AI assistants and agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, AWS (Bedrock, AgentCore, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3), Pulumi, MCP, vector databases, Langfuse, Datahub.

• Proven experience in deploying LLMs and agents into production (beyond mere prototypes).

• Strong understanding of RAG, including chunking, embeddings, vector search, and evaluation.

• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS, especially Bedrock and AgentCore.

• Experience in cloud development: serverless architectures, containers, IAM, networking, and CI/CD practices.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi.

• Background in backend development using Python and/or TypeScript, along with frontend development using a modern framework (React or similar).

• Awareness of security best practices encompassing OAuth/OIDC, secrets management, and user-specific permissions.

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Knowledge of LLM observability (such as Langfuse or similar) and automated evaluation techniques.

• Strong analytical skills and comprehension.

• Quick adaptability to new developments and tools.

• Highly proactive approach: initiates ideas instead of waiting for directives.

• Sufficient experience to articulate business terms and clarify technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong critical judgment concerning AI: uses it as a tool while critically evaluating its outputs.

• Ability to grasp the business model and the overarching purpose of the work being performed.

• Fluent in English, both orally and in writing (+B2+ proficiency).
