AI Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and management of AI-driven internal platforms and systems, including projects initiated from scratch.

• Take full ownership of the delivery process for complex projects, encompassing problem identification, system architecture, production deployment, and iterative improvements.

• Create and implement AI-enhanced features, intelligent automation processes, and orchestration systems that improve customer experiences and increase productivity across teams.

• Integrate AI functionalities into customer-facing products, internal tools, and operational workflows, ensuring that solutions blend seamlessly and provide measurable benefits.

• Develop comprehensive full-stack systems that include backend services, APIs, data layers, and frontend interfaces.

• Convert unclear business and operational challenges into scalable, maintainable, AI-supported technical solutions.

• Utilize strong systems thinking to ensure reliability, performance, security, permissions, and auditability throughout platforms.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, teams, and stakeholders across the organization to identify high-impact opportunities and promote adoption.

• Engage in production support and incident management for systems under your purview, helping to define and uphold best practices for reliability and operations.

• Provide mentorship to AI team members through code reviews, design critiques, and hands-on support, elevating the overall quality of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, platform engineering, or similar fields.

• Practical experience in designing, constructing, and deploying AI-enabled systems in production settings.

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and frontend frameworks like React.

• Established record of designing and managing production-quality full-stack systems.

• Experience with distributed systems, internal platforms, or intricate data workflows.

• Proven experience with Claude or comparable large language model tools is essential; candidates should be adept at using AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Capability to work effectively in ambiguous problem domains and drive solutions with minimal guidance.
