AI Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Design and create interactive AI-driven front-end applications utilizing AI Agents and LLMs.

• Develop user-friendly, AI-native experiences that facilitate smooth interaction, collaboration, and management within Agentic AI systems and autonomous workflows.

• Collaborate with AI engineering and Data Science teams to incorporate APIs, event-driven mechanisms (SSE), polling, webhooks, and similar functionalities.

• Prototype, design, and execute contemporary Agentic UX standards, protocols, and concepts, such as Elicitation, UX negotiation, and A2UI compliant applications.

• Construct full-stack AI Agents using Google ADK, implementing advanced features like A2A, AAIF, A2UI, Agent skills, and MCP.

• Investigate and adopt innovative full-stack technologies, Agentic UX advancements, and front-end best practices.

• Conduct testing, debugging, optimization, and performance enhancements to guarantee high-quality user experiences.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and AI architects to convert business requirements into production-ready solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in developing modern web applications using React or similar front-end frameworks.

• More than 3 years of substantial experience in Python-based web development, utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or comparable libraries.

• Proficient programming and scripting skills in Python (Asyncio/Pydantic), HTMX, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Practical experience with Jinja2, Tailwind CSS, or similar templating and styling tools/technologies.

• Familiarity with Figma, including the ability to interpret designs, collaborate with designers, and translate UI/UX specifications into actionable implementations.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, webhooks, and real-time data integration (websockets).

• Experience connecting UI frontends with ADK Agents, A2A, and MCP.

• Comprehensive understanding of UI/UX best practices, particularly in designing AI-Native interfaces (HITL, time travel, checkpointing, real-time steering).

• Background in developing web applications adhering to WCAG accessibility standards.

• Skills in designing user workflows, multipart forms, validations, autocomplete, and error-handling best practices.

• Exposure to containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD delivery pipelines.

• Familiarity with middleware and modern web frameworks such as Nginx, Next.js, or their equivalents.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining clean, reliable, and production-ready code, with a strong emphasis on coding standards, testing, documentation, and engineering best practices.
