AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain AI features, starting from research to creating a proof of concept and transitioning them to production.

• Evaluate the technical viability of customer feature requests utilizing AI solutions.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to convert requirements into well-structured, dependable software.

• Collaborate with the AI Core Team on implementation, ensuring the approach aligns with the agentic system design.

• Engage in code review processes.

• Develop metrics and assessments for the accuracy of the model's predictions.

• Detect and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt throughout the stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Software Development, particularly in building and delivering generative AI solutions.

• Proficient in Python with a strong background in designing robust AI pipelines.

• Experience in creating Agentic AI systems, which includes reasoning and large language model orchestration for dynamic query management, Prompt Engineering, and designing reasoning chains (CoT, ReAct, structured prompting for multi-step reasoning).

• Knowledge of designing and implementing agent memory systems, encompassing long-context and short-term memory management.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git).

• Bonus points for expertise in developing, deploying, and benchmarking NLP and generative AI models, and creating retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, which includes adaptive retrieval strategies like query rewriting, iterative retrieval, and self-reflective search refinement.

• Proficient in English at the C2 level.
