AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and develop agentic AI systems that support conversational workflows aimed at enabling sellers.

• Build a chat-based assistant for sellers that:

• Responds to seller inquiries using enterprise data.

• Offers insights regarding ordering, pricing, and customer behavior.

• Produces pre-visit one-pagers to steer sales discussions.

• Integrate extensive language models (such as Claude, ChatGPT) with internal data sources and APIs.

• Utilize prompt engineering, context engineering, and agent orchestration techniques to enhance reliability and utility.

• Develop and enhance the platform utilizing LangChain and LangGraph (initially in Python).

• Design persistence and data access layers utilizing MongoDB or other data storage solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to influence both technical direction and use cases.

• Act as an advocate for modern AI coding assistant tools (e.g., Cursor) within the team.

• Assist in establishing standards and best practices as this AI capability expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a full-stack or backend engineer in developing production systems.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles (APIs, data modeling, system design).

• Familiarity with databases, data storage solutions, and data modeling concepts (experience with MongoDB is advantageous but not mandatory).

• Practical experience working with LLMs (through OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), including prompt design and assessment.

• Experience in integrating applications with enterprise data sources (APIs, databases, analytics platforms).

• Comfort in navigating early-stage, ambiguous problem spaces where patterns are still developing.

• Strong communication skills to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Openness to working in a Mac-based development environment.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) as part of your daily workflow.

• Proficient English language skills.
