AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Implement innovative AI features within our products.

• Develop tools and frameworks that enhance the capabilities of LLM/VLMs.

• Create AI automations and intelligent agents.

• Fine-tune AI models for optimal performance.

• Maintain and refine models using the HuggingFace toolkit.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of models.

• Collaborate with and advise internal teams on the development of custom datasets.

• Quickly build and test AI-driven concepts, progressing from proof of concept to MVP and then to production.

• Assess existing solutions (both internal and external) and conduct experiments to identify potential improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in software engineering; proficiency in Python is essential, and knowledge of Rust is a plus.

• Experience with parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques.

• Familiarity with tools in the AI ecosystem, including ML frameworks, HuggingFace, MLOps, Guardrails, and AI Agents.

• Understanding of the theoretical foundations behind neural networks and Transformer architectures.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the AI/ML domain, with a minimum of 2 years focused on language models.

• Experience with other modalities such as vision and audio is considered a plus.

• Proven track record of progressing from idea to prototype to production in fast-paced environments.

• Previous experience in an R&D department is highly regarded.

• A strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to take initiative while also collaborating effectively in small teams.
