📋 Description

• Establish engineering standards, architectural principles, and development practices throughout the organization.

• Lead the technical strategy for AI-assisted software development, encompassing governance, quality assurance, and the responsible adoption of AI.

• Oversee architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering decisions for intricate initiatives.

• Identify systemic engineering challenges and advocate for platform-wide enhancements in productivity, quality, and scalability.

• Assess emerging AI development tools, agentic engineering platforms, and automation technologies.

• Create measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and quality of AI-assisted engineering workflows.

• Foster consensus among senior technical stakeholders and ensure alignment of engineering investments with business goals.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership, architects, and technology vendors to enhance engineering capabilities.

• Guide engineers and leaders on systems thinking, engineering excellence, AI fluency, and contemporary software development practices.

• Drive organization-wide adoption of AI, enhance developer experience, and promote engineering quality, trust, and security.

• Strong grasp of AI capabilities, limitations, governance, and responsible adoption practices.

• Expertise in evaluating technology investments from technical, operational, security, and business viewpoints.

• Advanced skills in utilizing modern AI tools to enhance software development workflows and boost engineering productivity.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with a knack for influencing without direct authority.

• Experience in mentoring senior engineers and cultivating high-performing technical teams.

• Valid authorization to work in the United States.

• Additional valuable experience with autonomous agent systems in a production environment.

• Additional valuable experience with multi-step AI workflows, orchestration, or durable execution frameworks.

• Additional valuable experience with retrieval systems, embeddings, vector databases, or contextual knowledge architectures.

• Additional valuable experience in creating evaluation frameworks for AI-generated outputs and agent performance.
