AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Define, design, and oversee the technical architecture of solutions centered around intelligent agents and large language models (LLMs), incorporating tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent frameworks.

• Implement the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) architectures to facilitate multi-agent coordination and autonomous workflows within business contexts.

• Collaborate with the MLOps team and execution environments to support continuous updates and deployments of agents, which include memory management, context handling, and long-term planning.

• Work closely with product, UX, data, and backend teams to align business requirements with intelligent agent architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence projects, including at least 2 years focused on the implementation of autonomous agents or co-pilots.

• Proficiency in technical English.

• Experience dealing with business data in areas such as accounting, finance, payroll, billing, or ERP systems.

• Familiarity with vector stores like Chroma, Weaviate, Pinecone, and relevant RAG architectures.

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.

• Practical understanding of MCP and A2A protocols, including tools usage, memory management, and conversation states.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI, asyncio, Pydantic, and asynchronous architectures.

• Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, agent monitoring, and automated retraining.

• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Golang, Java, or C# (.NET), particularly in the context of developing high-performance components (Nice to Have).
