AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather pertinent data from diverse sources, such as databases, online platforms, and internal systems, crucial for training AI models.

• Transform raw data into a format suitable for machine learning, which entails cleaning, normalizing, and segmenting the information.

• Develop machine learning models utilizing suitable algorithms and techniques to address specific business challenges or enhance application features.

• Conduct thorough testing of AI models to verify their accuracy, reliability, and robustness, and assess them against established metrics.

• Integrate AI models seamlessly into existing software applications, utilizing API calls or embedded code for optimal functionality.

• Continuously enhance AI systems for improved speed, efficiency, and accuracy, ensuring they fulfill the necessary performance criteria.

• Detect and resolve bugs or issues within AI models and their integration into applications, ensuring smooth operations.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and related technologies to implement advanced solutions.

• Collaborate with other professionals, including AI Engineers, data scientists, software developers, and project managers, to achieve unified project objectives.

• Develop comprehensive documentation for AI systems and their architectures, facilitating maintenance, updates, and knowledge transfer.

• Leverage AI to enhance the user interface and experience of applications, making them more intuitive and responsive.

• Follow ethical guidelines and standards in AI development, ensuring fairness, privacy, and transparency.

• Perform thorough analyses of AI systems' performance, pinpointing areas for enhancement and optimization.

• Utilize cloud computing platforms for effective AI model development, testing, and deployment.

• Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into the development of AI systems to continually enhance their effectiveness and usability.

• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring the integration of AI into various business processes aligns with business objectives.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders and Product, Data & Technology teams, to assist with AI-related technical challenges.

• Contribute to the AI professional team by leveraging expertise to address inquiries and sharing best practices with less experienced colleagues, improving the skill sets and competencies of team members while disseminating technical knowledge throughout the group.

• Engage in stakeholder reviews and design sessions.

• Provide data, reports, and information to management as required.

• Cultivate strong communication, partnerships, and stakeholder management with senior leaders, functional managers, and staff.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Advanced proficiency and experience with Python.

• Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, R, or Scala.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or similar.

• Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.

• Knowledge of AI principles and technologies, including neural networks, NLP, and computer vision.

• Experience working with cloud cognitive services in Azure, AWS, Google, etc.
