AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and train machine learning and deep learning models, including Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, and predictive analytics solutions tailored for healthcare applications.

• Create, test, and implement AI solutions across both cloud and on-premise environments.

• Work with extensive healthcare datasets, engaging in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.

• Integrate and enhance AI models within Gainwell’s current technology framework.

• Regularly monitor, refine, and improve AI models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and speed.

• Remain informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.

• Ensure that AI implementations comply with healthcare industry regulations, ethical AI practices, and data privacy standards.

• Identify potential areas for workflow automation and business process optimization through AI-driven solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in AI and machine learning engineering, including practical experience with Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, deep learning, and computer vision.

• Proficient coding skills in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch; experienced with large language models (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Claude), including prompt engineering and optimization.

• Knowledgeable in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps methodologies, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and CMS.
