AI Engineer, Anthropic Architect – FDE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with BIG's key enterprise clients to design, develop, and implement production AI applications powered by Claude.

• Produce technical documentation including MCP servers, sub-agents, agent skills, and evaluation frameworks utilized in actual customer workflows.

• Spearhead rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept initiatives that showcase measurable business results from the outset.

• Serve as the main technical liaison on-site, facilitating coordination among BIG delivery, sales, and Anthropic partner teams.

• Create scalable, enterprise-level AI architectures utilizing Claude API, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise.

• Provide guidance to customers on agentic workflow design, multi-agent orchestration, RAG patterns, evaluation frameworks, and large language model (LLM) deployment at scale.

• Convert intricate customer requirements into architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps that align with business objectives.

• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks early in projects to ensure success for delivery teams.

• Assist in integrating Anthropic solutions with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data stacks.

• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales process to formulate effective technical strategies for Anthropic-powered solutions.

• Conduct technical discovery workshops to identify customer business goals, current architectural state, and AI preparedness.

• Create and present engaging demos, prototypes, and POCs that illustrate Claude's capabilities for specific customer scenarios.

• Address RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with clear, accurate, and persuasive technical responses.

• Convey complex AI concepts into business value for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

• Act as an internal authority on the Anthropic Claude ecosystem, enhancing the broader team's capabilities through knowledge sharing and documentation.

• Develop reusable demo assets, accelerators, architecture playbooks, and prompt engineering guides.

• Represent BIG at customer events, webinars, and partner activities with Anthropic.

• Provide structured field feedback to Anthropic product and partner teams to influence roadmap development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, solutions architecture, or a customer-facing AI position.

• More than 2 years of practical experience in building production applications with LLMs, specifically Claude, GPT-4, or similar enterprise models.

• Proven expertise in advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and LLM deployment at scale.

• Strong proficiency in Python; knowledge of TypeScript, Java, or another secondary programming language is advantageous.

• Experience in creating or designing agentic systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or DSPy.

• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Demonstrated capability to conduct technical discovery with enterprise clients and translate requirements into architectural decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clarity in complex AI topics for both engineers and executives.

• High self-agency, comfort with uncertainty, and ability to work independently in customer settings.
