AI Embedded Engineer, Fleet Systems, IoT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will create a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for a drone early-warning system utilizing a learning-based map architecture.

• You will design computer vision models (including dataset preparation, auto-labeling, training optimization, and edge/cloud deployment) and merge visual and acoustic sensor data into the system.

• You will customize kernels on devices such as Raspberry Pi to enhance IoT performance and prototype with Large Language Models (LLMs).

• You will integrate GPU-accelerated vision models (using CUDA, TensorRT, DeepStream) with scalable backend services.

• You will embed advanced machine learning technologies and ML algorithms into individual devices to significantly enhance localization performance and accuracy.

• You will oversee systems, resolve incidents, and continually enhance observability.

• If desired, you may assist with on-site deployments, gather sensor data, and validate technology in controlled field trials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector (e.g., software engineering).

• At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar role, preferably with acoustics experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience within the IoT domain.

• Proficient in Python and associated frameworks.

• Extensive experience with the embedded Linux ecosystem.

• Some experience with cloud platforms.

• You have been employed for at least 2 consecutive years with the same employer.

• Proficient in English; any additional spoken language is a plus.
