This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Oversee the comprehensive planning, procurement, and logistics processes, ensuring optimal performance and proactive solutions to challenges.
• Manage the departmental profit and loss, enhance cost centers, and improve supply chain key performance indicators while maintaining agility and service excellence.
• Promote the integration of automation tools and AI agents to enhance forecasting, purchase order generation, inventory management, and risk mitigation.
• Supervise the entire supply chain process—from sourcing to delivery—which includes: Product label and packaging approvals in collaboration with compliance, legal, and design teams; Operational readiness for new SKUs, free gifts, and promotional bundles; Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage and coordinate product/sample testing; Launch coordination and lifecycle management for both new and phased-out products.
• Synchronize demand forecasts with sales and marketing strategies, incorporating campaign insights and real-time data. Balance stock availability and working capital through intelligent inventory management and scenario modeling.
• Lead supply and purchase order planning with manufacturers in the US and China, improving lead times and minimum order quantities.
• Manage inventory across internal systems, third-party logistics providers, and Amazon FBA—ensuring timely restocking and healthy inventory turnover. Develop allocation strategies during supply shortages to minimize revenue impact. Mitigate obsolete or slow-moving inventory through proactive monitoring and cross-departmental collaboration. Oversee third-party logistics operations to uphold shipping service level agreements and customer delivery expectations.
• Investigate and assess manufacturers based on their quality, reliability, and cost factors. Assist in sourcing and negotiation efforts to lower cost of goods sold and enhance supply chain resilience.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Launch, Marketing, Sales, and the Amazon team to align supply chain contributions with business objectives. Deliver structured updates to the CEO, highlighting risks, cost trends, and future plans. Prepare and distribute monthly Sales and Operations Planning reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required (preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or IT).
• 4-5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or materials management.
• Strong ability to coordinate across functions with a proven track record of driving planning and execution across departments (e.g., Product, Marketing, Sales, Compliance).
• Hands-on experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning is essential.
• Experience in supporting new product launches and product lifecycle planning is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MRP, APS, and ERP systems is necessary.
• Advanced skills in Excel are required (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP); familiarity with SQL and/or Microsoft Access is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and scenario planning capabilities with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or project management methodologies is preferred (Green Belt or equivalent is a plus).
• Ability to influence, collaborate, and execute in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Comfortable with adopting or exploring automation and AI tools for process enhancement.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% as necessary.
