AI Deployment Strategist, Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the AI Lifecycle: Guide comprehensive customer interactions, starting from initial discovery and strategic planning to hands-on implementation, realization of value, and executive reporting.

• Act as a Strategic Consultant & Thought Leader: Serve as the main technical advisor and consultant for our clients. Lead workshops, cut through industry buzz to shape their AI strategies, and foster trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders by linking technical capabilities to concrete business results.

• Design & Develop AI Agents: Immerse yourself in customer workflows to design, construct, and refine AI agents. While collaborating closely with our Forward Deployed Engineering team on intricate integrations, you are also expected to have the hands-on skills to configure and deploy agents independently.

• Create the Playbook: You will be responsible for establishing our deployment framework from scratch. This includes developing and honing the playbooks, best practices, and processes that will enable the scaling of our AI program.

• Drive Business Impact: Identify and prioritize significant use cases that deliver clear, actionable insights linked to business value. Your success will be evaluated based on the outcomes you achieve for our clients and the growth you generate for Talkdesk.

• Influence the Product: Serve as the voice of the customer, offering a close feedback loop to our Product and Engineering teams to help shape the future direction of our AI platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a customer-facing, technical position such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Customer Success, or Product Management.

• Consultative AI Expertise: Possess a consultative mindset and the ability to function as an AI thought leader—informing customers about market trends, best practices, and the transformative capabilities of agentic AI.

• A proven history of taking responsibility for complex, ambiguous projects and delivering measurable outcomes in a dynamic environment.

• Strong technical proficiency with hands-on experience in deploying AI, automation, or enterprise SaaS solutions. Direct experience with AI agents, LLMs, and associated frameworks is essential.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of commanding a room, explaining intricate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences, and fostering alignment.

• A "seller mindset" with commercial acumen; comfortable engaging in deal discussions and driven by the goal of creating customer value and expansion.

• High initiative and a "first principles" approach to problem-solving. You can identify what needs to be accomplished and possess the proactivity to execute it without prompting.
