AI Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and oversee the data pipelines that support BAA's AI initiatives.

• Automate the ingestion and organization of unstructured data to facilitate the implementation of highly accurate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.

• Translate complex enterprise data schemas to bolster the cognitive architecture.

• Design and enforce stringent Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and enterprise security measures within the AI ecosystem.

• Monitor data flows for any system drift, malfunctioning APIs, or context collapse.

• Establish and uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for pipeline availability.

• Create secure API integrations between enterprise AI platforms and BAA's current technological infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required.

• Over 3 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or database management within an enterprise setting.

• Extensive technical knowledge in SQL, enterprise data lakes, and the construction of ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Strong capability in establishing and securing API integrations among diverse cloud and on-premises systems.

• Proven experience in implementing rigorous security frameworks and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) at both the database and application levels.

• Outstanding troubleshooting and debugging abilities—capable of independently diagnosing integration problems across legacy systems without relying on vendor support.

• Ability to thrive in a small, agile team environment where you manage entire workstreams from start to finish without layers of specialization or handoffs.
