AI Conversation Recording Contributor, Wolof

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Senegal.

📋 Description

• Capture or gather natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with project specifications.

• Engage in or record speech from sanctioned real-life contexts, such as workplace dialogues or informal one-on-one interactions.

• Execute individual or duo conversational speech assignments, or take part in voice or voice-text exchanges with an AI or machine-based system.

• Annotate the collected speech data according to the provided guidelines.

• Supply necessary information and metadata pertaining to each recording.

• Assist in the evaluation and advancement of speech recognition and conversational AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Wolof (Senegal).

• Authentic pronunciation and a strong familiarity with Wolof through daily usage.

• Advanced proficiency in English to comprehend written instructions.

• Contributors must refrain from imitating dialects or accents that do not belong to them.

• Experience in speech recording or data annotation projects is a plus, though not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.

• Capability to adhere to detailed project and recording instructions.

• A quiet room or recording environment with minimal background noise is essential.

• A computer microphone or headset with a microphone is required.

• A dependable internet connection is necessary.

• Ability to access and utilize an online recording platform.
