AI Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Lead and conduct discovery interviews and workshops to gain a thorough understanding of client processes and operations.

• Create precise and comprehensive process models such as swimlanes, value streams, and user journeys.

• Facilitate Kaizen, A3, and design-thinking sessions to enhance workflows prior to implementing AI solutions.

• Identify and assess opportunities for AI, automation, RPA, and low-code/no-code tools.

• Develop succinct and persuasive business cases that include clear value propositions and measurable outcomes.

• Advise on the prioritization of AI use cases and assist in guiding them into structured delivery pipelines.

• Collaborate with technical teams to convert business needs into actionable backlogs, prototypes, and pilot programs.

• Define, monitor, and analyze pilot metrics to evaluate scalability and ROI.

• Maintain well-organized documentation to expedite the transition from discovery to execution.

• Mentor stakeholders on recognizing and prioritizing future AI and automation opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, consulting, or similar client-facing roles.

• Demonstrated success in delivering technology-driven process enhancements (AI, automation, RPA, low-code platforms).

• Strong proficiency in process modeling and improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, or design thinking.

• Practical experience with AI tools, including Generative AI, chatbots, document intelligence, or workflow automation.

• Ability to construct business cases that clearly outline value, effort, risks, and dependencies.

• Exceptional facilitation, interviewing, and communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Strong documentation and storytelling skills for both business and technical audiences.
