AI-Augmented Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines utilizing Go and Python.

• Take ownership of defined features and enhancements through their implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with cloud-native systems, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.

• Produce maintainable code and automated tests.

• Engage in code and design reviews.

• Troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes, and apply effective solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes, observability, and production operations.

• Utilize AI development tools for implementation, testing, debugging, and code exploration, while ensuring the quality of the resulting work.

• Deliver dependable, thoroughly tested features with increasing autonomy.

• Comprehend how modifications align with the overall system and architecture.

• Methodically address issues and implement sustainable solutions.

• Incorporate feedback and real-world experience to enhance technical judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development.

• Proficient in programming with Go, Python, or a comparable backend language.

• Solid understanding of APIs, data structures, debugging, testing, and version control.

• Experience working with REST APIs and relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud-native applications and distributed systems.

• Experience in automated testing and contemporary development workflows.

• Ability to dissect technical challenges, investigate issues, and formulate practical solutions.

• Strong communication skills paired with a robust engineering mindset.

• Nice to have: experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or PostgreSQL.

• Nice to have: experience in asynchronous processing, queues, or event-driven architectures.

• Nice to have: experience in building data-processing or integration services.

• Nice to have: familiarity with gRPC or service-to-service APIs.

• Nice to have: exposure to multi-tenant SaaS applications or external cloud and SaaS integrations.
