AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define and take responsibility for the architectural strategy of AI platforms and applications throughout Rackspace.

• Design scalable and reusable architecture patterns for AI.

• Establish and manage architecture standards while conducting design reviews.

• Lead decisions regarding build versus buy versus partner for AI tools and frameworks.

• Ensure seamless interoperability among teams, platforms, and services.

• Own the long-term technical vision for the AI engineering division.

• Mentor and develop both senior and mid-level engineers.

• Proven ability to design complex, distributed systems.

• Practical experience in designing production-grade agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and applications integrated with LLM.

• A successful history of establishing engineering direction.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python, including async patterns, testing, packaging, and production-grade engineering practices.

• Extensive knowledge in Cloud Architecture, specifically AWS.

• Hands-on experience with LangChain / LangGraph and AWS Bedrock.

• Capability to design and manage production workloads within Kubernetes.
