This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a product capability from inception to completion, encompassing architectural decisions and production results while addressing all aspects: entry points, orchestration, intelligence, tools, data, and observability.
• Your contributions have a direct impact on how Augeo's clients interact with tens of millions of users.
• Develop and deploy mission-critical AI agents that facilitate revenue growth across finance, healthcare, telecom, and commerce sectors.
• Establish the framework for constructing AI agents at Augeo.
• Manage the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from the initial pilot phase through to production enhancement.
• Create the shared platform, including agent orchestration, agentic workflows, machine learning models, and data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, product leaders, and end users across Augeo to identify requirements, close feedback loops, and ensure the platform improves with each interaction.
• Contribute to team dynamics and participate in the hiring process.
• A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of leading technical direction for a team, product, or organization.
• Proven track record of managing a product domain from start to finish: from determining what to build to shipping and operating it in a production environment.
• Experience in deploying AI-driven systems: integration of language models, prompt engineering, tool invocation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation, and orchestration.
• Strong analytical skills in systems design and architecture, particularly in distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
• A proactive builder’s mentality with a high level of initiative - you devise innovative solutions to challenges and successfully launch products.
• Daily and proficient use of AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or comparable tools) as a primary method of work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic, flat team structure.
