This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Take responsibility for the detection, mitigation, and governance of abuse related to AI agents across Zendesk’s products and customer integrations.
• Spearhead threat modeling for AI agent features, integrations, and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and prototype mitigation controls.
• Develop anomaly detection rules, telemetry, and behavioral analytics.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for investigations involving AI agents.
• Work with various stakeholders to provide compliance and mitigation support.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or ML security, with proven hands-on expertise.
• Profound understanding of application/API security, OAuth/token lifecycle, session management, and current authentication patterns.
• Practical experience with LLMs/agents, including knowledge of prompt engineering risks, injection attacks, and mitigation strategies for model-based systems.
• Strong history of leading cross-functional technical initiatives and influencing product decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills — able to convey technical risks in terms relevant to product, legal, and business contexts.
• Experience working in a SaaS company that offers a customer support platform.
