Afrikaans/English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Zimbabwe.

📋 Description

• Professionally respond to calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during conversations.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, without adding, omitting, or altering any content.

• Enable effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing precise and thorough interpretation of messages.

• Uphold established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Adhere to dress code policies for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong passion for languages and interpretation.

• Proven experience as a professional remote interpreter.

• Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.

• Technical setup compliant for remote work.

• A high-speed, private, and secure internet connection.

• A computer running at least Windows 10 with a dual-core, 2 GHz processor.

• Minimum of 8 GB RAM.

• A wired internet connection (Wi-Fi is not permitted).

• A noise-cancelling, wired headset equipped with a built-in microphone.
