AEO/SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable SEO/AEO project frameworks, which encompass keyword research, prompt mapping, and content gap analysis, for implementation across various accounts.

• Address ad hoc research and execution requests from the AEO team and transform them into standardized workflows.

• Update playbooks and templates that allow senior AEO personnel to concentrate on client strategy.

• Provide efficient behind-the-scenes fulfillment work promptly and accurately, enabling client-facing teams to advance without delays.

• Recognize patterns across projects that can evolve into repeatable processes, templates, or tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with keyword research, heat mapping, or related SEO/content research tasks from an agency or in-house team.

• A builder mentality aimed at converting one-off requests into systematic processes.

• Capability to work autonomously on detail-oriented projects without constant supervision.

• Fundamental knowledge of SEO principles.

• Eagerness to learn about AEO and how AI answer engines generate and reference content.

• Strong organizational abilities to handle requests from multiple senior colleagues.

• Experience with AirOps or comparable SEO/content tools (preferred).

• Prior familiarity with AEO, LLM citation tracking, or answer engine research (preferred).

• Aspiration to evolve into a client-facing AEO role over time (preferred).
