Advisory Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with our US validation partners, who are among our most critical partnerships.

• Ensure they receive exceptional service through upgrades and thorough monitoring.

• Work in alignment with them, our supporting partners, and other end-customers.

• Analyze intricate datasets and identify/report deviations in collaboration with our high-priority validation partners.

• Conduct thorough analysis in close partnership with the Cube Success team based in Norway.

• Execute advanced root cause analysis on system failures and performance challenges.

• Examine system logs, data sets, and diagnostic outputs to pinpoint trends and anomalies.

• Establish complex analyses using tools such as PowerBI.

• Carry out on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of sophisticated technical systems and equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve system issues on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.

• Provide technical support during deployments, upgrades, and service interventions.

• Collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful implementation, upgrading, and operation.

• Regular travel to customer locations is anticipated.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in field engineering, technical support, or system engineering roles.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities across both hardware and software in relation to complex products.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and Norwegian offices.

• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI).

• Understanding of system architectures, networking, or control systems, depending on the domain.

• Capability to interpret logs, telemetry, and performance metrics.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and diagnostic platforms.

• Experience with Databricks is preferred.
