This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Support the progress of projects as Gainwell aids clients in achieving improved health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.
• Oversee one or multiple large project management teams by deconstructing larger technological programs and assisting with project staffing.
• Drive project planning, tracking, and management of assigned personnel by providing guidance and deadlines to ensure quality and timely task completion.
• Engage with the client, company, and project team leadership, evaluating and sharing project metrics/status; suggest program adjustments as necessary.
• Develop project schedules, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to guarantee the quality of project deliverables throughout all phases.
• Actively manage projects across non-direct reports by swiftly escalating any risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to Gainwell’s growth by preparing detailed Statements of Work (SOW) and supporting new proposal initiatives and business development efforts.
• Over 9 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives throughout a complete project management life cycle.
• 3 or more years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Contemporary understanding of budget development, control, assurance methods, and project management software.
• Capability to lead and translate the broader goals of a program into clear and attainable project scope and milestones that can be pursued.
• Leadership skills to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Strong executive presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
