This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Prepares and assists in applying for and distributing Federal Student Aid and military funds for both new and current students.
β’ Conducts document reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness in preparation for the distribution and coordination of federal, state, and institutional funding.
β’ Supports the Learner Funding Advisor function by tracking Institutional Student Information Records (ISIR), reviewing students' documents to resolve verification issues, C codes, Unusual Enrollment History (UEH), and conflicting data.
β’ Verifies the accuracy of data and aids in preparing disbursements for the electronic distribution of Title IV and military funds.
β’ Provides guidance to students and their families regarding academic and career goals in relation to funding for higher education.
β’ Evaluates studentsβ eligibility for various aid programs, encompassing Title IV, military, and other funding sources.
β’ Assists all students, their families, and other relevant parties in exploring funding options.
β’ Reviews documentation of current students to confirm eligibility, completeness, and accuracy needed to access Title IV and military funds.
β’ High School Diploma or GED is required.
β’ A minimum of two years of professional experience, preferably within an institution of higher education or in student funding.
β’ Demonstrated understanding of Federal Student Aid and/or military funding.
β’ Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
