This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales and expand territory AUM in a highly competitive environment by engaging financial advisors, key contacts, and delivering seminar presentations and client events.
• Create and execute territory business plans in collaboration with internal sales support teams.
• Foster robust relationships with Hartford Funds’ strategic partners, registered representatives, and affiliated firms.
• Effectively utilize data and technology to enhance sales and capture market share.
• Offer marketing support and customer service to financial advisors within the designated territory.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of changing market conditions and Hartford Funds solutions.
• Regularly inform advisors about industry developments; anticipate client needs and consistently improve the client experience.
• Assist and engage in various conferences and meetings.
• Comply with all regulations and guidelines, including the use of approved marketing materials, fund prospectus requirements, and maintaining proper licensing.
• Complete administrative duties (such as updating CRM and submitting expense reports) promptly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, finance, sales, or marketing (or equivalent practical experience).
• Must possess full licensing (Series 7, Series 63).
• Willingness and ability to travel 80% of the time is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in external wholesaling is preferred.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships, demonstrating effectiveness as both an individual contributor and a team player.
• A confident public speaker with excellent presentation skills.
• Open to coaching and development.
• Exhibits impeccable integrity and sound judgment.
• Possesses a keen awareness of the overall industry: understanding competition, market dynamics, industry trends, and customer needs.
