Advanced Specialist, Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration and ongoing effectiveness of licensed content partners, including both supplemental and alternative instructional materials within the PVS K-12 curriculum.

• Assess and nurture relationships with third-party content providers, determining the appropriate product fit, technical integration, and data privacy requirements in accordance with state standards and PVS system specifications.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, lead product discovery for new content partnerships, and maintain a precise record of allowable sources.

• Anticipate review periods for contract renewals and expirations, ensuring timely actions on all partner agreements.

• Leverage existing PVS platforms (Pearson Online Classroom, PAICE, PowerBI) and AI applications to develop a precise inventory system and/or the capability to query third-party content across the PVS content ecosystem.

• Spearhead change management when partners discontinue products or update their offerings, identifying and onboarding suitable alternatives.

• Drive the implementation of Names and Role Provisioning Services (NRPS) and single-sign-on (SSO), collaborating with PVS technical teams for seamless partner integration.

• Visualize and document workflows for all licensed content partners, ensuring clarity and efficiency for internal teams and users within the K-12 curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role—preferably within EdTech or SaaS environments.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).

• Strong analytical skills, along with effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Foundational understanding of 1EdTech standards, including LTI Advantage features: Names and Role Provisioning Services, Deep Linking, and Assignment and Grade Services.

• Experience with SSO integrations and managing external partnerships is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
