Advanced Specialist, Portfolio Management

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development and expansion of Pearson's Higher Education portfolio in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law.

• Design exceptional products and services that empower educators to achieve improved learning outcomes and student success.

• Oversee a balanced and commercially viable portfolio that stays contemporary, relevant, and aligned with market needs.

• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with authors, academic thought leaders, and subject matter experts.

• Aid in the continuous advancement of Pearson's digital learning and courseware offerings.

• Perform market research to grasp the evolving requirements of educators, institutions, and learners.

• Collect and analyze customer feedback, competitor activities, and industry trends.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the UK Higher Education landscape, especially in Psychology, Law, and broader Social Sciences disciplines.

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to enhance product adoption and user engagement.

• Proven experience in portfolio management, product management, publishing, content development, higher education, learning, or related fields.

• Strong commercial insight and an understanding of how products thrive in competitive markets.

• Experience in conducting market research and analyzing customer insights.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to influence cross-functional teams and operate effectively within a matrix organization.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.

• Experience collaborating with educators, institutions, authors, content creators, or academic communities is a plus.

• Familiarity with digital learning solutions, courseware, instructional design, or educational technology is advantageous.
