Advanced Specialist, Business Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Document existing payroll processes, workflows, handoffs, controls, and interdependencies across various countries or initiatives.

• Develop and sustain clear process maps, standard operating procedures, workflow documentation, and operational playbooks.

• Assist in payroll transformation efforts by evaluating readiness, pinpointing risks, documenting impacts, and monitoring key actions.

• Collect and verify inputs from stakeholders across Payroll, HR Operations, Finance, Technology, Legal, Procurement, and external providers.

• Facilitate business change activities, including vendor transitions, platform modifications, service delivery enhancements, and M&A-related payroll workstreams.

• Recognize manual workarounds, process deficiencies, and automation possibilities for further examination by technology or transformation teams.

• Organize governance activities such as readiness checkpoints, issue logs, decision records, and action trackers.

• Disseminate documentation standards, process insights, and best practices to promote consistent operational methodologies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Business, Finance, HR, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in business analysis, payroll operations, HR operations, finance operations, process enhancement, governance, or transformation support.

• Strong capability to document processes, map workflows, and convert complex information into clear, actionable outputs.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a global or multi-country context.

• Flexibility to collaborate and work across various time zones based on project needs and regions supported, including teams in the Americas, Europe, the UK, and APAC.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Solid understanding of operational risk, controls, dependencies, and issue tracking.

• Keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, follow-up abilities, and documentation discipline.

• Capability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize based on business impact.
