This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of BI and analytics solutions for healthcare coding and clinical data products.
• Apply enterprise analytics best practices, data models, semantic models, and agentic as well as generative AI analytics solutions.
• Define BI architecture, data modeling, and analytics best practices tailored for Solventum HIS products and client solutions.
• Assist in HIS analytics development for both internal and external clients across the United States and worldwide.
• Work collaboratively with teams across Solventum to create data-driven products.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while executing assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (to be completed and verified prior to commencement) from an accredited institution in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• A minimum of ten (10+) years of experience in software engineering.
• 3–5+ years in an architectural or technical leadership position focused on designing scalable enterprise applications.
• Proven experience in leading architecture design, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical assessments.
• Background in establishing and enforcing engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural governance across teams.
• Experience in creating user-facing applications with embedded analytics, including dashboards and BI integrations like QuickSight, Power BI, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration and mentoring development teams on architecture patterns, cloud design, and analytics integration.
• Skilled in designing and implementing complex data pipelines and ETL workflows utilizing AWS Glue, Lambda, Spark, or equivalent technologies.
• Proficient in application performance optimization, data modeling, and distributed system design for large-scale data and analytics workloads.
• Practical experience with cloud-native architecture in AWS and/or Azure, encompassing networking, security, and managed services.
• Expertise in designing systems that facilitate scalability, security, reliability, and large-scale data processing.
• Knowledgeable in Python, Spark, and EMR.
• Experience with Lakehouse and Fabric architecture.
• Familiarity with open-source tools such as Apache Arrow, Parquet, Nifi, Airflow, and Superset.
• Demonstrated capability in advancing analytics to agentic-first pipelines like Langchain.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
