Advanced Brokerage Operations Professional, Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming phone calls from members, field representatives, and clients.

• Handle new account documentation, maintenance requests, transfers, distributions, and complex or non-routine transactions.

• Address “not in good order” items.

• Initiate outbound calls as necessary.

• Ensure that service activities are efficient, precise, cost-effective, and adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in the development of policies and procedures along with quality assessments.

• Oversee workflow and provide functional support within the brokerage operations team.

• Stay informed about brokerage products, services, affiliated NFS and Thrivent systems, and operational protocols.

• Cultivate professional relationships with field professionals, clearing firms, and internal business units.

• Evaluate, authorize, and process transactions within established service-level timeframes.

• Communicate account operational statuses accurately and in a timely manner.

• Meet or surpass department quality benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant financial reporting tools.

• Familiarity with Envestnet, Wealthscape, Netx360, or similar wealth management systems.

• FINRA Series 7 and 63/65, or 66 required, or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Availability to work day and/or evening shifts based on volume forecasts.

• Preferred: college degree or equivalent experience in a brokerage/advisory setting.

• Preferred: over 3 years of customer service experience.

• Preferred: 2 or more years of industry-related experience.
