Advanced Brokerage Operations Professional, Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls from members and field representatives.

• Handle new account documentation, maintenance requests, transfers, and distributions.

• Evaluate and process non-routine and complex transactions related to new business and services, including items not in good order.

• Initiate outbound calls as necessary.

• Deliver services as part of a team focused on brokerage operations.

• Support team members, manage workflow, adapt for functional coverage, and collaborate with service teams.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of brokerage operations products, services, associated NFS and Thrivent systems, as well as operational policies and procedures.

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with field professionals, the clearing firm, and internal business units.

• Analyze, approve, and deliver timely service while adhering to service-level timeframes.

• Accurately and clearly communicate the operational status of accounts to field representatives and clients.

• Meet or surpass department quality standards.

• Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and quality assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

• FINRA Series 7 and 63/65, or Series 66, required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant financial reporting tools.

• Capability to work day and/or evening shifts based on volume forecasts.

• Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.

• After training, ability to work a schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Central Time.
