Advanced Brokerage Operations Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming phone calls and handle new account documentation, maintenance requests, transfers, and distributions.

• Evaluate and process complex and non-routine new business and service transactions, including items that are 'not in good order.'

• Make outbound calls as necessary.

• Ensure that service activities are conducted swiftly, accurately, cost-effectively, and in adherence to both internal and regulatory standards.

• Assist in the development of policies and procedures as well as quality assessments.

• Deliver services as part of a brokerage operations team.

• Support members, field professionals, and team members; manage workflow and provide functional coverage.

• Maintain a strong understanding of brokerage operations products, services, affiliated NFS and Thrivent systems, and relevant procedures.

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with field professionals, clearing firms, and internal business units.

• Analyze, approve, and deliver timely services while adhering to service-level agreements.

• Ensure detailed, accurate, and timely communication regarding the operational status of accounts.

• Meet or surpass departmental quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant financial reporting tools.

• Ability to work day and/or evening shifts based on volume forecasts.
