This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Delivers top-notch medical nutrition therapy and weight management guidance to patients and clients.
• Evaluates nutritional requirements and creates personalized nutrition care plans.
• Works in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Records nutrition care plans in the medical documentation.
• Offers nutrition education to patients and/or their families.
• Ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while complying with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Encourages personal professional growth and development by fulfilling continuing education requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is mandatory if registration was acquired after January 1, 2024.
• Must be registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• CPR Certification (Heart Saver only) from either the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association, or obtained within six (6) months of employment.
• Completion of a qualified professional experience is required for the registered dietitian exam administered by the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Must possess the ability to engage positively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
